If the force is strong with you, then you could try try the Jedi mind trick on it.
That should get it out easy :)

Sorry to hear of your bad luck with the carbs.
I haven't had much luck with the ZRX1200 Keihins and have just about decided to put a set of Mikuni pumpers on the bike and be done with it.
I'm not crazy about shelling out the money for the carbs, but the parts for the Keihin CVKs are expensive.
By the time I put a rebuild kit and new float valve in each one, I may as well have just spent the money on the flatside Mikunis.

Just to finish this thread off I drilled the needle out for Shuggy. Bike is up and running now.

How would you get 4 of those to work in the 1100?
They don't look like they could be bolted together as a rack of carbs.
Plus, you have 4 separate throttles to connect cables to.
What am I missing?

Just push onto the carb rubbers and clamp them up, no bolting together, then there's 1 part of the throttle cable at the twistgrip which then splits into 4 lower down and 1 for each single carb.
Wonder how well it would actually work? It could have potential. Want to be the guineapig?

Interesting thought... But don't you need 'members' for a 'Club'..?

If you can't bleed your bike's brakes then you can't have a bike.

XS1100 - it's old fookin' hat.
